First Refrigeration Engineer (1st Refrigeration Engineer)

Position Overview

Reports to the Chief Refrigeration Engineer for operation, maintenance, and repair of ventilation, cooling, ice rink, and air conditioning systems.; Acts as a technical consultant and supports the development of junior engineers.; In emergencies, may assume the Chief Refrigeration Engineer responsibilities.;

Key Responsibilities

Environmental Stewardship; Comply with and promote the company's environmental policies.; Work with team members to ensure systems are environmentally responsible.; Immediately report any malfunctioning environmental systems to your supervisor.;

System Maintenance & Operation

Maintain ventilation, cooling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems at peak efficiency.; Ensure all equipment operates at maximum efficiency to reduce energy and fuel costs.; Assist in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of:; Ventilation and HVAC systems; Ice rink cooling (if applicable); Refrigerators, coolers, and ice machines; Fire dampers, shut-off dampers, filters, and ventilation cleaning systems; Team Development & Budget Support; Support the training of team members in safety and operational duties.; Assist with budget control, spare parts management, and work order coordination.;

Additional Duties

Perform routine tasks and any other work assigned by your supervisor to ensure smooth operations.;
