As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and assisting visitors and employees. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate professionally, and support security-related operations with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor access points, verify identification and credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and support authorized entry to commercial real estate facilities. Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns. Document daily activities, incidents, access-control issues, and observations in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
