Construction Project Coordinator

A growing commercial flooring and acoustic ceiling contractor is seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to support projects from kickoff through completion.If the following job requirements and experience match your skills, please ensure you apply promptly.This role is responsible for coordinating materials, deliveries, project documentation, and communication between customers, vendors, field teams, and internal departments.The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple moving pieces in a fast-paced construction environment while helping ensure projects stay on schedule and materials arrive on time.Project Coordinator Responsibilities:Coordinate purchasing, material orders, and deliveries for commercial flooring and acoustic ceiling projectsWork closely with project managers, sales teams, vendors, and field personnel to support project executionTrack project schedules, material lead times, and delivery dates to ensure projects remain on schedulePrepare and manage submittals, samples, project documentation, and customer-facing materialsCoordinate shipping logistics and truckloads to maximize efficiency and control costsMonitor inventory levels and verify materials are ordered accurately for upcoming projectsManage returned materials, manufacturer claims, and change orders as needed throughout project lifecyclesReview layouts, measurements, and project details prior to material shipment and installation xhyhwjd Maintain accurate project records and update internal systems with job progress and order information Project Coordinator Requirements:2+ years of experience in a project coordination or similar role for a specialty contractor preferredCustomer service or experience in a customer facing role requiredAssociates or bachelors preferred, but not requiredExperience purchasing construction materials, or other productsProficiency in Excel
