Our Fort Washington location now offers a complimentary facility shuttle running to and from the Livingston Rd & Fort Washington Rd bus stop - served by Metrobus routes P97, P93, P94, and P96, connecting directly to the Southern Avenue Metro Green Line Station.DutiesAssist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices.Monitor vital signs, document medical information accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems, and report any changes in patient condition promptly.Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper handling and adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.Assist with clinical procedures including catheter care, phlebotomy, aseptic techniques, and infection control practices within acute or long-term care environments.RequirementsValid Geriatric Nurses Assistant license (GNA)Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting patients with Hoyer lifts and assisting with mobility while maintaining proper body mechanics.Strong communication skills combined with a compassionate attitude toward individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs.
