Compensation $100,000 - $375,000 yearly Responsibilities Create and fulfill a customer acquisition strategy for your sales territory Keep company abreast of new business development opportunities, account status, potential customers, customer needs, and competitive issues using CRM Maintain up-to-date information on our services and products, industry, competition, and market conditions in order to present them to clients and ensure customer needs are met Initiate contact and follow up with potential customers to present our new products or services Attend online and in-person meetings, trainings, trade shows, and sales events Embody Electrify My Home principles Perform virtual assessments and pre-sell prior to performing a home visit Keep CRM updated with outreach & project information Bring company-provided and self-provided leads from inquiry to sale Attend in-person and online events to promote the company Confidently speak to large groups Provide consultative-based techniques in line with the company's low-pressure sales philosophy Stay up-to-date on system performance techniques and products Perform site visits and gather data needed for Manual J-load calculations Qualifications Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license To be successful in this role you must have strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Experience using a CRM is preferred Proven track record of sales experience, 3-5 years We prefer if you have a bachelor's degree or high school school diploma Applicants must have 3+ years of sales experience Applicants must have 3+ years of HVAC design, installation, and/or service experience Must be clean-cut with a positive attitude, willing to learn, and be a team player Must be exceptionally personable, polite, and an excellent communicator Self-driver - must take customers from start to finish Knowledge of home energy systems. Electrical, solar, and plumbing experience is a plus Must have sufficient experience and understanding of HVAC to provide accurate estimates via a virtual meeting Big Plus: $2000 signing bonus available if BPI (Building Performance Institute) or NATE certified About Company Who We Are Electrify My Home (EMH) is Solano County's leading residential HVAC and home electrification contractor.
