Entry-Level Commercial Roofing Technician

Full-Time

Starting pay: $25.00hr

We are looking for hardworking, dependable Entry-Level

Commercial Roofing Technicians. This is an excellent opportunity to start a

long-term career in the construction industry with strong starting pay and

hands-on training.

Position Overview

As a Commercial Roofing Technician, you will work

alongside experienced crew members to install, repair, and maintain commercial

roofing systems. This position involves physical, outdoor work in a

team-oriented environment and offers the opportunity to learn a skilled trade

with growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and repair of commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, metal, etc.)
• Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces
• Load, unload, and transport tools and materials
• Safely operate hand tools and power equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and job site guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of labor-intensive outdoor work experience required
• (construction, landscaping, roofing, farming, or similar fields)
• Ability to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, etc.)
• Comfortable working at heights
• Ability to consistently lift 50+ lbs
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Team-oriented mindset
• Valid driver’s license preferred

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dubuque, IA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
