Field Service Engineer II (Jackson/Memphis, TN)

Outset Medical seeks a Field Service Engineer II to install, maintain, and repair Tablo Hemodialysis Systems at customer and patient locations across the Jackson/Memphis region. The role involves troubleshooting complex medical devices, coordinating with clinical teams and cross-functional departments, and supporting continuous product improvement through field feedback.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair Tablo Dialysis Systems at customer facilities and patient homes
• Perform preventative maintenance including calibrations, hardware/software upgrades, and system verification
• Provide first and second level technical support to customers as needed
• Document service activities, manage spare parts inventory, and report data through enterprise resource planning systems
• Deliver product feedback to R&D and support marketing and sales at seminars or demonstrations

Requirements

• Associate degree in electrical, electronics, mechanical, or fluidics engineering or military equivalent
• 5+ years of field service or industrial experience
• Knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems troubleshooting
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States with overnight stays
• Ability to work on-call including after-hours, holidays, and weekends
