We're seeking passionate School Psychologists for contract roles in the vibrant South Lake Tahoe, CA region for the 2026–2027 school year. This unique opportunity offers the perfect blend of professional fulfillment and the chance to live in one of California’s most stunning mountain communities.
Key Details:
- Two full-time openings, 35 hours per week
- Scheduled to begin August 19
- Potential to work at two school sites or support students across the district
Qualifications:
- Valid California credential as a School Psychologist
- Experience in a K–12 school setting preferred
- Strong skill in conducting psychoeducational evaluations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with IEP development and compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive student evaluations and assessments
- Develop and help implement IEP goals and intervention strategies
- Provide counseling, behavioral support, and crisis intervention as needed
- Consult with teachers and parents to support student well-being
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and participate actively in IEP meetings
- Support a positive school climate and facilitate healthy social-emotional development
