Job Description

In this role, you'll play a vital part in empowering students to reach their fullest potential by conducting comprehensive evaluations and contributing to a supportive educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

Completion of a master's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology
Active state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
Previous experience with school-based psychological assessments, preferably at the middle school level
Strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and special education processes
Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Main Responsibilities:

Conduct individual psychological and educational evaluations for middle school students
Interpret assessment data and present findings to staff and families
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support students' academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
Provide consultative support to school staff regarding student concerns and accommodations
Maintain thorough documentation to ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
