Join High Companies — where values guide us, people thrive, and every role has purpose.GENERAL DESCRIPTION:The Sr. Functional Analyst (SAP FICO) plays a critical role in projects, process improvements and day-to-day support of the SAP S/4HANA application with primary focus in Financial Accounting and Controlling modules. This position will be responsible for working with the Strategic Business Units (SBU) and Strategic Resource Units (SRU) to implement new functionality, modernize processes and implement automation to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, TRAINING, AND/OR EDUCATION REQUIRED:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.6+ years of recent experience in configuring, implementing, and supporting one or more SAP FICO modules. S/4HANA experience and/or certification a plus.Strong understanding of integrations between SAP modules. Experience in a Project Systems and/or Manufacturing environment.Experience integrating and supporting 3rd party systems or external data feeds for financial processes such as Account Payable, Sales and Use Tax, Banking, Expense Reporting, Payroll and/or other related processes.Proficient understanding of Accounting Standards and Financial Reporting beyond system implementation.Experience working with senior level management to establish roadmaps, set priorities, and communicate status.Experience implementing process automation and simplification within SAP or using external tools.Experience working in a consulting environment, supporting multiple operating units and business models a plus.OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIESMentoring team members within and outside of the team.Strong organizational and project planning skills.Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate system transactions and processes into business language and related system concepts for business impact.Ability to handle complex problems and unexpected situations, including determining root cause and making recommendations on resolution.Exhibits accountability and accepts responsibility and consequences for work performance and conduct.Sets priorities, overcomes obstacles and opposition, and uses organizational skills to get things done in a timely manner.Demonstrates customer service orientation.Ability to develop strong relationships with software vendors and/or consultants to augment skills, oversee work and maintain high quality applications.Utilize opportunities to influence 3rd party software development processes to provide value in High’s best interest.Intellectual curiosity supported by strong listening and needs assessment skillsREPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:The Sr. Functional Analyst operates as part of the Enterprise Solutions team and reports to the Manager of Enterprise Applications. The Sr. Functional Analyst has responsibility for the support and implementation of SAP and related systems.
