About the Position The Multifamily Property Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a Class A multifamily community. This role leads operations, leasing, and maintenance teams to ensure the highest standards for current and prospective residents, mentoring and inspiring team growth through coaching and empowerment. Job Responsibilities Provide input on property success by reviewing financial statements and integrating findings into forecasts, budgets, and operational analyses. Manage expenses against budget expectations and provide regular financial variance reports to the Regional Manager. Conduct reviews and feedback sessions with team members as part of performance evaluations and career‑pathing conversations. Secure employee retention and growth through positive mentoring. Respond to resident questions, complaints, and requests promptly to promote retention and satisfaction. Approve daily pricing and provide feedback on pricing recommendations. Achieve budgeted occupancy by analyzing historical patterns and creating future action plans. Perform frequent property inspections with Maintenance Leadership and Resident Services Managers to ensure standards of excellence. Ensure accuracy of operational and financial reports. Maintain strong vendor relationships. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing Laws and all company policies. Foster strong interdepartmental relationships across company verticals. Monitor daily maintenance activities, including common‑area appearance, work‑order turnaround, and CapEx projects; assess patterns and report issues to the Regional Manager. Control and approve purchase orders, invoices, and property expenses, submitting approvals in a timely manner. Complete monthly systems audits to ensure compliance with quarterly corporate audits. Interpret and analyze market data to identify emerging trends that may impact community performance. Conduct monthly property inspections with the Regional Manager. Represent the company professionally, exemplifying high standards and strong work ethic. Supervisory Responsibilities Oversee all property‑level team members, including leasing, operations, and maintenance staff. Reports to Regional Property Manager. Job Qualifications College degree (equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree). 3+ years multifamily experience as Community Manager or Assistant Property Manager at a Class A multifamily property. Familiarity with RealPage. Superior communication and customer service skills. Excellent written and oral communication. Demonstrated ability to multi‑task and prioritize assignments in a dynamic work environment.
