We’re seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing & Procurement Administrator to support a busy procurement team in the AEC industry. This long-term, open-ended contract role focuses on processing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently once trained.

Responsibilities

• Process and issue purchase orders accurately and on time.
• Track open orders through receipt and follow up on outstanding items.
• Maintain organized purchasing records, vendor correspondence, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams to confirm delivery status and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate order delays or issues to senior procurement staff.
• Support new purchasing systems and department processes.
• Provide general administrative support to the procurement team.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, procurement support, or administrative coordination.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and communicate clearly with vendors and internal teams.
• Comfortable learning new systems and working independently after training.
• Construction industry experience is a plus.
