Sign Language Interpreter

TactStaff Education is hiring a School-Based Sign Language Interpreter for a full-time, onsite position in the Lane County, Oregon area for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to support Deaf and Hard of Hearing students while working alongside a collaborative educational team dedicated to student success. Full-time, onsite 2026–2027 school year Lane County, Oregon area Competitive hourly pay based on experience Travel stipends available for eligible travelers W2 employment with weekly pay Responsibilities Provide sign language interpreting services for Deaf and Hard of -Hearing students in classroom instruction, school activities, meetings, and other educational settings Facilitate accurate communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers Support student access to curriculum while maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and multidisciplinary teams Assist students in developing independence and full participation within the educational environment Maintain accurate documentation as required by the school district Qualifications Associate's Degree from an Interpreter Education Program required; Bachelor's Degree preferred Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), Contact Variety, and English Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) score of 3.5 or higher OR RID NIC, CI, or CT Certification may be accepted in lieu of an EIPA score Why TactStaff Education?
