Summary
A healthcare office is seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join their team in a long-term role. This position focuses heavily on insurance claims, appeals, and denials, and is ideal for someone with recent hands-on billing experience who is detail-oriented and dependable.

Primary Responsibilities

• Process medical insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner
• Handle appeals and denials to ensure proper reimbursement
• Follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims with insurance carriers
• Review EOBs and resolve billing discrepancies
• Maintain accurate patient and billing records
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and requirements
• Support general billing and administrative functions as needed

Qualifications

• Recent experience in medical billing and insurance claims processing required
• Strong background in appeals and denials management
• Knowledge of insurance guidelines, claim forms, and reimbursement procedures
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Reliable, professional, and committed to long-term employment

Pay: $18-$20/hr DOE

Shift:
Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
