POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking an exceptional Lead Carpenter / Multi-Trade Service Technician to join our team. This is not a production framing job or repetitive punch-list position. We are looking for a highly skilled craftsman who enjoys solving complex problems, takes pride in precision workmanship, and is capable of performing a wide variety of repairs and improvements in luxury residential properties.
The ideal candidate is an experienced carpenter with outstanding troubleshooting abilities and hands-on expertise across multiple construction trades. Every day presents a new challenge, requiring technical knowledge, craftsmanship, and professionalism.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform high-end finish and rough carpentry with exceptional attention to detail.
- Diagnose and solve construction, maintenance, and repair issues across multiple trades.
- Complete repairs and custom installations that meet the highest quality standards.
- Read and understand construction drawings and field conditions.
- Plan work efficiently while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Lead and direct a laborer or assistant to maximize productivity.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, architects, designers, and project managers.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle in excellent condition.
- Represent the company with professionalism while working in occupied luxury homes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of hands-on residential construction experience.
- Expert-level rough and finish carpentry skills.
- Strong working knowledge of drywall, doors, windows, trim, hardware, cabinetry, flooring, and general construction.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of building components.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.
- Extremely neat, organized, and respectful of clients' homes.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
