Restoration Technician

SERVPRO® Restoration TechnicianAs a SERVPRO® Restoration Technician, you will help restore homes and businesses affected by water, fire, mold, and other property damage. No restoration experience is required for the right candidate. We provide training in restoration processes, equipment, and safety procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform water extraction, demolition, cleaning, drying, equipment setup, and other restoration activitiesPrepare work areas and maintain safe, organized job sitesLoad and maintain company vehicles with the necessary equipment and suppliesOperate and care for professional restoration equipmentCommunicate job-site conditions, safety concerns, and project progress to supervisorsCommunicate professionally with customers and coworkersFollow company safety procedures and risk-management guidelinesClean and organize job sites, vehicles, equipment, and warehouse areasPosition RequirementsValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordDependable, hardworking, and able to follow instructionsStrong teamwork and communication skillsWillingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPrevious restoration, construction, cleaning, maintenance, or handyman experience is preferred but not requiredHigh school diploma or GED preferredIICRC certification is a plusPhysical RequirementsCandidates must be able to:Regularly lift at least 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistanceStand, walk, bend, and perform physical work for extended periodsClimb ladders and work at ceiling heightsWork in crawl spaces, attics, and other confined areasRepeatedly push, pull, lift, and carry equipment and materialsWork safely around cleaning products and chemicalsWork indoors and outdoors in varying conditionsYou May Be a Great Fit If You:Enjoy working with your hands and seeing the results of your workWork well as part of a teamAre dependable and motivated to learnWant to help people recover from unexpected property damageJoin SERVPRO and build valuable skills while making a difference in your community.
