Merit Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team in Sinking Spring, PA. Schedule (days/hours): Monday-Thursday 7:30-4pm, Friday 7:30am-1pm

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists in delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform expanded functions in accordance with Pennsylvania EFDA certification and state regulations.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures.
• Take digital radiographs and maintain accurate patient records.
• Educate patients on oral health and post-treatment care.
• Support infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to create an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

• Meet all state specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain before start date)
• Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care

Compensation: $28-$35/hour
