Assistant Program DirectorThe Assistant Program Director supervises professional and paraprofessional staff to ensure a high level of performance in their work with assigned clients. This position will report to the Program Director.HYBRID SCHEDULE: Sunday - Thursday (Sundays will be an onsite day)Job Responsibilities:Assistant Program Director in supervising staff and program activitiesWork closely with clinic Doctors, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and Clinical Practice ManagerAssist with planning and conducting in-service training for staffReview case records to ensure that they meet regulatory requirementsReview clinical and administrative reports with staff, ensuring compliance with agency policies.Provide individual and group supervision to clinicians as assigned by the Program Director.Evaluate the quality of individual workers and help to improve the performance of workersPrepare written evaluations, Corrective Action Plans, and disciplinary actions, as requiredCrucial member on a clinical team, collaborating with doctors, clinical supervisors, and therapists to discuss clinical challenges and to determine future treatment plan.Maintain and review program policies and procedures, ensuring they are up to date and followed by clinical staff.Provide crisis intervention and assist with client needs as necessaryPerform other duties as assigned by the Program Director.Qualifications:Master's Degree from an accredited school in Social Work or Mental Health CounselingMust be licensed by the state of New York in their professional discipline (LCSW OR LMHC)SIFI certification and experience supervising Interns is a plus4 or more years of post-graduate experience as a supervisor in a mental health facilityAble to be on-call during off-hours and weekends by cell phone; available for consultation on an as-needed basisOutstanding engagement, interpersonal communication skills, and able to work collaboratively with other disciplines, including clinical and clerical staffExcellent leadership and management skillsExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-taskStrong demonstration of professionalismTakes initiative, prioritizes, and adjusts to change wellExcellent verbal and written communication skills that are timely and effectiveExceptional customer service skillsProficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.Able to work well in a fast-paced environmentMaintains a positive attitude and is friendly, upbeat, and has a great "can do" personalityPassionate about NYPCC's mission and valuesAdditional Information:All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
