Assistant Director of Nursing - Intermediate Care Unit

MedStar Health Corporate Office

The Assistant Director of Nursing Intermediate Care (RN) supports the Director in leading an intermediate or critical care step-down unit. This role oversees daily nursing operations, staffing, and patient care delivery while promoting evidence-based, culturally competent, and person-centered practice. The position provides shift-based administrative leadership, supports regulatory compliance, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient care for medically complex patients.
