Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Intermediate Care (IMC)/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult pre and post organ transplant patients, maintaining a focus on safety and quality.
• Float to various units as needed, including potential assignments at the Bellevue campus.
• Administer intravenous medications and drips accurately, ensures appropriate patient monitoring.
• Collaborate effectively with the care team, including CNAs, LPNs, and other support staff.
• Utilize EPIC charting for comprehensive and accurate patient documentation.
• Adhere to all facility policies, including nicotine-free and COVID-19 vaccination requirements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Nebraska or a pending license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH and CPI preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system and a Level I Academic Medical Center preferred.
• Strong understanding of managing drips, including Nitro, Heparin, and Insulin.
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed.
