Sr. Product Engineer [Remote]

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Product Engineer based in United States.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior full-stack engineer to develop modern web applications, developer tools, and AI-powered solutions that support mission-critical engineering environments. Working across the entire technology stack, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and technical stakeholders to build secure, scalable, and high-performance software. The role combines product thinking with strong engineering expertise, allowing you to transform complex user needs into intuitive technical solutions. Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using modern frontend technologies such as React and TypeScript alongside backend services built with Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Build secure, scalable, and well-tested APIs that support complex engineering workflows while contributing to system architecture focused on performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and technical stakeholders to understand customer workflows, gather requirements, and translate evolving business needs into effective software solutions.
• Develop internal and customer-facing developer tools, SDKs, workflow automation capabilities, and AI-powered features that enhance productivity and user experience.
• Integrate modern AI technologies, including large language models (LLMs), retrieval systems, and intelligent copilots, into software products and engineering workflows.
• Improve development processes by contributing to CI/CD pipelines, local development environments, engineering best practices, and overall software delivery efficiency.
• Build and maintain software capable of operating reliably within secure, regulated, or air-gapped environments while balancing innovation with operational stability.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on full-stack application development.
• Extensive experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React.
• Strong backend development experience using Python, Go, or comparable programming languages.
• Proven ability to deliver complete software features from design through deployment in collaborative development environments.
• Product-oriented mindset with the ability to understand customer needs, solve ambiguous problems, and contribute to product strategy.
• Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and design.
• United States citizenship and current residency within the United States are required.
• Experience developing developer tools, technical platforms, or products for engineering users is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, including LLMs, embeddings, AI-assisted workflows, or related machine learning integrations, is highly desirable.
• Experience working within aerospace, defense, digital engineering, or other highly regulated industries is considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of secure computing environments, air-gapped systems, or security-focused software development practices is preferred.
