Clinical Therapist - Extended Day Program Revere Staffing Partners is currently seeking a Clinical Therapist to join a behavioral health team supporting children and families through an Extended Day Treatment Program. Job Title: Clinical Therapist - Extended Day Program

Compensation: $60,000 annually
Position Overview: The Clinical Therapist will provide counseling, case management, and treatment planning services for children and families enrolled in an extended day treatment program. This role works closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide therapeutic interventions, family support, crisis assistance, and coordination with schools, healthcare providers, and community resources. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, adolescents, and families and will utilize trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches to support positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual, family, and group counseling services.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups focused on behavioral, emotional, and social development.
• Complete clinical assessments and develop treatment recommendations.
• Participate in treatment planning meetings and case reviews.
• Collaborate with schools, healthcare providers, community agencies, and support systems.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, progress notes, and service plans.
• Support youth and families using trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches.
• Develop and implement therapeutic activities that encourage growth and skill development.
• Assist with crisis intervention, discharge planning, and aftercare coordination.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to program staff regarding behavioral interventions.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and required trainings.
• Follow all licensing requirements, agency standards, and mandated reporting guidelines.
Skills/Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a clinical or social service setting preferred.
• Experience providing individual, family, and group therapy preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and child development principles.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Knowledge of behavioral health diagnoses and evidence-based interventions.
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Connecticut clinical licensure or eligibility for licensure preferred.
