Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Auburn, AL for a Project Estimator. The Project Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction and other projects by analyzing plans, specifications, and other project documents. This role includes responsibilities such as budgeting, cost management, and project estimation while collaborating closely with project teams, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure financial feasibility and project success. Strong computer skills and abilities are a must in this field of work. Dedication to getting the project complete accurately and on time is a requirement. Qualifications Experience with Construction Estimating and Project Estimation techniques Proficiency in Budgeting and Cost Management Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to analyze project documentation Proficient in relevant software tools for estimation and financial analysis Previous experience in construction or project management is beneficial Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, building science, or related is a must Bid2Win Software experience would be welcome Strong computer skills is a must Dedication to the success of the projects JLD uses a Estimating Software as well as digital takeoff in our office environment Vast knowledge of Microsoft suite is a must Civil Construction Experience is a requirement for this job, all others will not be considered JLD offers a wide range of benefits, 3rd party benefits, 401K and more JLD works in the Auburn and surrounding area, No travel for work or staying away from home Competitive Weekly pay direct deposit All Business needs are provided by JLD Competitive Pay with structured PTO, Vacation Pay, are available** Daily collaboration with estimating team and ownership Comfortable office environments This job is full time This job is not a remote job nor will it be Our office is located in Auburn, al.
