Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with a minimum of 3 years of OR experience and Level 1 or 2 trauma background for a 13-week travel contract at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Colorado.

Details

• Work in a large OR department with 41 operating rooms at a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Cases include General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastics
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts with 6:45 AM start times; occasional float to 8:45 AM or 10:45 AM starts
• Occasional float to nights, no more than 3 shifts per contract
• Floating required to other OR suites within the same health system
• Weekend work required per unit needs
• On-call required per unit needs, approximately 6 shifts per 8-week schedule period
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
• Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Any nurse who previously completed a full-year assignment at this facility must wait at least one year before returning
• Maximum of 10 RTO days allowed per contract
• RTO is not permitted during the following blackout periods: December 21 – January 3, March 14–21, May 8–11, and May 21–27
• Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but will be placed at a local bill rate
