Registered Nurse – Orthopedics

Schedule: 3x12-Hour Day Shifts (06:45 - 19:15)

Assignment Details: 36 hours per week. Unit accepts 1st time travelers. The unit consists of 30 beds focused on orthopedic and spine care, with medical overflow.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Experience in Orthopedics preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC documentation system
• Float requirement within scope
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for orthopedic and spine patients
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to their needs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Educate patients and their families about post-operative care
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations
