Radiation Therapist
Location: Columbia, South Carolina
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 5x8 Hour Shifts
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a contract assignment within a radiation oncology setting. The Radiation Therapist will provide radiation treatment procedures, ensure patient safety, operate radiation therapy equipment, and collaborate with oncology teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
• Active Radiation Therapist licensure/certification required
• Experience in Radiation Therapy required
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and treatment procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills required
Key Responsibilities
• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
• Position patients accurately for treatment procedures
• Monitor patient safety and comfort during treatments
• Maintain accurate treatment documentation and records
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists and healthcare teams
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Float to qualified units/campuses as needed per facility policy
