Territory Operations Director Salary: $130,000 – $145,000/year depending on experience + quarterly bonus opportunities + mileage reimbursement The Opportunity Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is partnering with a leading healthcare organization seeking an experienced Territory Operations Director to oversee home health operations and drive clinical, operational, and financial excellence across the Lombard market. This highly visible leadership position will oversee a large-scale home health operation, supporting patient care delivery, team development, compliance, census growth, and overall business performance. The ideal candidate is a proven healthcare leader with strong home health experience who can balance operational strategy with hands‑on leadership. This individual will play a critical role in developing teams, improving processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and creating an environment focused on exceptional patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational leadership for home health services across the assigned territory Oversee daily branch operations while ensuring high-quality patient care delivery Lead, mentor, and develop clinical and operational teams to drive performance and engagement Support patient care outcomes through effective coordination, communication, and process improvement Monitor operational metrics including census growth, staffing, productivity, quality indicators, and financial performance Maintain accountability for operational goals and business objectives Manage and interpret P&L performance while identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency Ensure compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards Support survey readiness activities including regulatory reviews, audits, and quality initiatives Partner with clinical leadership, physicians, referral sources, and community stakeholders Conduct field engagement activities including staff rounding, patient visits, and operational support Collaborate with business development teams to support referral relationships and market growth Address staffing challenges, operational barriers, and workflow improvements Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and patient-centered care This role requires a visible and engaged leader who is comfortable being connected to both office operations and field teams. The Territory Operations Director will: Serve as a resource and mentor for clinical and operational leaders Build strong relationships with employees, referral partners, physicians, and community stakeholders Support leadership development and employee engagement initiatives Step in during operational challenges, high census periods, staffing needs, or business demands Drive continuous improvement while maintaining a strong culture of quality and service Qualifications Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license required Previous home health leadership experience required Experience leading large-scale home health operations strongly preferred Prior responsibility for operational performance and financial results Experience managing clinical teams, branch operations, or multi-disciplinary healthcare teams Strong understanding of Medicare regulations, compliance requirements, and survey readiness Experience with quality improvement initiatives and operational metrics Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and required vehicle insurance Ideal Candidate Background Successful candidates typically bring experience as a: Territory Director Area Director Executive Director Branch Director Director of Operations Regional Operations Leader Home Health Administrator Clinical Operations Leader with a proven history of leading teams, improving performance, and managing complex healthcare operations.
