Phlebotomist
$17.75 - $23 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for their Eldorado, Illinois location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide customer service. This full-time Monday-Friday position requires phlebotomy experience or certification and offers opportunities for growth within a diagnostics leader.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary methods across all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other analyses
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately and timely
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and process billing information
- Deliver exceptional customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year phlebotomy experience or accredited certification
- Ability to perform venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation and ability to work independently
Compensation: $17.75 - $23.00 per hour
