Patient Access Specialist

Position: Patient Access Specialist Location: Alluvion Health – Great Falls, MT Schedule: Monday through Friday | 40 hours per week | 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Status: Full-time | Non-Exempt Join Our Team Alluvion Health is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to support our Great Falls clinic locations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, loves helping people, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting. What You’ll Do Greet and assist patients with professionalism, compassion, and care. Schedule and confirm health appointments. Answer phones and respond to patient messages in a timely manner. Collect and verify patient information, demographics, and insurance coverage. Determine eligibility for financial assistance programs (Sliding Fee Discount Program). Collect co-pays, fees, and payments at time of service. Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA. Provide clerical and administrative support to healthcare providers. Assist Alluvion Health clinics as needed to support patient care. What We’re Looking For Required: High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET. Required : Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check. Required : Experience in customer service settings. Preferred: Experience in healthcare settings. Strong communication and customer service skills. Comfortable with technology; proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems a plus.
