Job Description

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions through detailed analysis of imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans
• Offer intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, proper patient positioning, and effectively handing off surgical instruments
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a specific focus on surgery is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills
