Head Global Neuroimmunology Pipeline, Medical Affairs (Senior Scientific Director / Executive Medical Director)

Senior scientific leadership role overseeing medical affairs strategy for a neuroimmunology pipeline portfolio. Directs clinical development activities, healthcare provider engagement, data generation, and scientific communications to support product launches and market access across early and late-stage programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee assigned indications and projects with cross-functional collaboration across medical, clinical, commercial, and market access teams
• Initiate medical affairs activities, data generation, and scientific dissemination to advance objectives; manage advisory boards and educational programs
• Guide Target Product Profile development, Phase II-III trial design, and Phase 3b/4 strategies aligned with regulatory and commercial goals
• Direct discrete projects including data analysis, expert engagement, publications, and collaborations; represent Medical Affairs in acquisition due diligence
• Manage team of colleagues while ensuring scientific initiatives meet budget, timeline, and compliance requirements

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or DVM); MD for Executive Medical Director track
• 10+ years clinical trials or medical affairs experience for Senior Director; 5+ years for Executive Medical Director
• Expertise in neuroimmunology therapeutic area with scientific strategy capability
• Knowledge of clinical trial methodology, regulatory requirements, and protocol design
• Strong cross-functional leadership and team management skills in global environment
• Proven ability to independently lead clinical studies or medical affairs teams
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
