Desktop Technician

IT Desktop HelpdeskPrideStaff is hiring an IT Desktop Helpdesk professional. In this position, you will provide technical support to end-users for desktop systems, hardware, and software. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent role with our client.The RoleProvide technical assistance to end-users in person, via phone, or through remote tools.Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues. Perform maintenance and updates to systems.Install, configure, and upgrade desktop hardware components (CPUs, RAM, storage) and software applications.Set up workstation equipment for users, including printers, scanners, monitors, and peripheral devices.Work with IT teams to escalate and resolve technical issues.Record issues and resolutions within a ticketing system and instruct end-users on troubleshooting techniques.What You Will BringExperience in an IT Desktop Helpdesk or technical support role.Knowledge of desktop hardware, operating systems, software applications, and network connectivity.Experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, and user account management.Problem-solving skills, customer service skills, and communication skills.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail.High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or degrees are a plus.Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $25.00 - $35.00 Per Hour
