As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.22 / Hour Valid Driver's License: Candidates must possess a valid driver's license that complies with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). Job Schedule: Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and policy concerns. Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel. Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports while maintaining a professional presence and supporting site operations. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
