Physical Therapist (PT) – School-Based | Multiple LocationsLocations Available:Tucson, AZ | Plano, TX | Richardson, TXSchedule:Full-Time | School Hours | ContractSetting:K-12 School Campuses (varies by district)Help Students Access Their Education—Through Movement & FunctionWe're hiring School-Based Physical Therapists (PTs) for multiple campus opportunities. Unlike clinic-based PT focused on rehabilitation, school-based PT is focused on functional access—helping students move safely and confidently throughout their school day. You'll play a key role in supporting students' ability to:Navigate hallways and classroomsSit and participate safely at schoolAccess playground and physical activitiesComplete safe transfers and mobility routinesReduce physical barriers that impact learningResponsibilitiesAs a School-Based PT, you may:Evaluate student mobility and functional needs in the school environmentProvide PT services aligned with IEP goalsRecommend equipment and accommodations to support access and safetyCollaborate with teachers, families, and special education teamsSupport safe positioning, transfers, and functional participationDocument progress and ensure compliance with school-based requirementsQualificationsDoctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program(Some experienced candidates may hold a Master's or Bachelor's in PT)Passing score on the NPTEActive state PT license in the state of practiceAbility to complete school-based fingerprint/background requirementsState Credential Requirements (Varies by Location)Applicants must hold the appropriate credentials for the state of assignmentArizona (AZ): AZ Board of Physical Therapy. No additional Dept. of Ed. certificate required; must have a valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.Texas (TX): TX Board of PT Examiners. No additional Dept. of Ed. certificate must hold a TX state medical license.
