Final offers determined by both factors.ResponsibilitiesDigital communicationsManage Transom's social media presence (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, occasional TikTok)Write and distribute newsletters (All Hear, Over the Transom) and maintain Substack and email listsUpdate website content and announcementsTrack audience engagement and analytics; report monthly to leadershipPromotion & audience buildingPromote stories and audio pieces published on Transom.orgHighlight alumni and community storiesPromote workshops, programs, and public events (festival, live storytelling)Coordinate marketing materials for programsDesign & podcast supportCoordinate graphic design and visual materials; manage freelance designers when neededMaintain visual brand consistency across channelsSupport promotion and distribution of Transom audio content; assist with podcast Produce Transom's podcastOther responsibilities as needed. QualificationsRequired3+ years of communications, marketing, or audience-development experienceStrong writing skills newsletter, social, web, all in the same warm editorial voiceComfort with email marketing tools (Substack, Mailchimp) and basic analyticsAbility to work independently and manage your own time at 20 hrs/wkBasic graphic design (Canva, Figma) for in-house assetsExperience with WordPress or modern static-site CMSPreferredFamiliarity with podcast productionFamiliarity with audio storytellingBenefitsPTO: 80 hours.
