An Emergency Medicine Physician provides immediate medical care and stabilization for patients experiencing sudden illnesses or injuries in a hospital emergency department or other urgent care settings. They assess patients, order tests, create treatment plans, and direct the emergency medical staff.

Required Qualifications:

Education: MD or DO, board-certified (EM, FP or IM)

Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS are mandatory.

Licensure: Must be eligible for a Florida Medical License.

Qualifications (Minimum and Preferred):

Years of Experience: 2 recent years Emergency Medicine experience in a hospital based ER

Specialized Experience: Familiarity with Epic EMR is beneficial.

Education: MD or DO, board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine ABEM ABOEM

Licenses: Eligible for a Florida Medical License.

Certifications:

ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS (All Required).
Personality Factors: Collaborative, detail-oriented, and committed to patient care.
