Job Description:

The RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for demonstrating basic knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures. The role includes understanding various imaging procedures and specialized skills for angiography and related procedures. The RN should also maintain a basic understanding of radiology equipment and imaging techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in procedures such as IR, Vascular, and Cardiac using Siemens equipment.
• Monitor patients using Sensis monitoring system.
• Work within a 4-person call team, taking 1-2 days of call per week, including weekends and some holidays.
• Demonstrate skills involved in hemodynamic monitoring and assist in procedures like pacemakers and IABP insertion.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an interventional cath lab.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for the employee health appointment on Friday.
