Based on your performance, you are eligible to receive a step increase of $1.00 each year based on your pay anniversary date until you reach $29.50. Once you have reached the maximum pay rate, you are eligible to receive a retention bonus of up to $2,000.00 each year.• When you work on a Contour observed holiday, you are eligible to receive holiday pay which is paid at 2 times your hourly rate. We invite you to become part of our family and contribute to our ongoing success.Summary of Essential DutiesThis is an entry level position which will give an individual the opportunity to gain on-the-job training for multiple departments within the Company and the aviation industry. This position will be assisting all Contour hangar operational departments include Stores, Tooling, Shipping/Receiving, Aircraft Maintenance, Avionics, Accessories, and Components.Key Responsibilities•Assist, under constant supervision, in maintaining or repairing aircraft, aircraft systems, aircraft engines and aircraft components according to all technical specifications.•Under supervision, perform daily scheduled and non-scheduled inspections, maintenance, repair. and alterations of aircraft.•Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.•Assist in troubleshooting defective aircraft systems and components.•Performs special projects and/or other duties as assigned or required by leadership.Physical Requirements• Frequent stooping, bending, and kneeling.• Ability to stand on feet for extended periods.• Lift and carry objects up to 70 pounds regularly, up to 100+ pounds occasionally (with assistance).• Ability to climb stairs, scaffolding, and/or ladders of varying heights without assistance.• Ability to work in cramped spaces and awkward positions as required.• Tolerance to noise, vibration, and outdoor weather conditions.• Ability to wear protective gear such as gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.Work Environment• Airport ramp/warehouse environment subject to varying weather conditions.• Regular exposure to aircraft noise and vibrations when testing engines.• Fast-paced operational setting requires attention to safety, accuracy, and timelinessQualifications•Be at least 18 years of age.•Be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States.•Must have a valid driver license and good driving record.•Must understand, read, and write English.•Possess high school diploma or GED certification.• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products, including Office 365, Excel, Outlook, and Word; familiarity with similar software applications is also required.• Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive, customer-focused attitude.• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.• Ability to effectively interact with a variety of personalities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.• Skilled in coordinating multiple priorities, managing deadlines, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.• Ability to handle interruptions and changing priorities with flexibility and a strong attention to detail.• Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others.• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team-oriented environment.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, delivered with professionalism and tact.• Must pass a DOT-required pre-employment drug screening and be willing to submit to and pass FAA and Company-mandated random drug and alcohol testing.• Ability to pass a 10-year work history background check, as well as criminal history and fingerprint checks, as required by the TSA.• Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and irregular shifts as operational needs dictate.• Must adhere to all safety regulations and work in a professional manner, complying with OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulatory requirements.Disclaimer: The above statements are intended only to describe the general nature and level of work required of the referenced position; they are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required of individuals in the position.
