We are building our EM Team at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center in Washington, DC, with a start date of September 1, 2026. We have full-time, part-time, and PRN MD/DO and APP positions available. Local Team Collaboration: Lead our close-knit team of 10 physicians and 6 APPs at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center. Work alongside our dedicated providers, committed to providing patient-centered care in collaboration with all stakeholders in a positive manner. Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center is a 136-bed hospital in Southeast Washington, D.C. The Emergency Department has 32 beds dedicated to the Adult ER, with Children's National Hospital staffing the pediatric emergency department. Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools. Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts. Qualifications: Board certified/eligible Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience. Board-certified/eligible in ABEM or ABOEM. Authorized to work in the United States. Scheduling: 40 hours of Physician coverage and 24 hours of APP coverage daily. The monthly workload for full-time positions is 120 hours, while part-time entails 80 hours per month. Key Responsibilities: The EM team responds to floor codes. The Sound hospitalist team is part of the Rapid Response and Code team. Cerner is our EMR.
