Senior Scrum Master

Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master to support a federal cloud modernization program at a large agency client. In this role, you will serve as the agile backbone for a cloud engineering team focused on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) delivery, facilitating the full Scrum framework and keeping sprint execution on track across a fast-moving, technically oriented team. What You Will Do You will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, drive sprint demos, partner with the Product Owner to refine the backlog, and serve as the primary point of contact for sprint status visibility. Requirements U.S. Citizenship Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance 5-8 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an IT or software delivery environment Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Scrum/agile certification Demonstrated experience facilitating all Scrum ceremonies and managing sprint execution end-to-end Proficiency with Jira (Atlassian) for story writing, subtask management, and sprint tracking Working knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) — specific platform expertise not required, but cloud familiarity is High-level understanding of DevSecOps concepts and delivery pipelines, sufficient to contextualize team stories and facilitate grooming conversations Familiarity with ATO (Authority to Operate) processes and federal IT security frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, FedRAMP) at a conceptual level Strong interpersonal and communication skills — able to engage confidently with engineers, product leadership, and federal customers Benefits Salary: $90,000–$115,000 annually, based on experience level.
