Connecticut Equestrian Center
Live-in Assistant manager position available at Connecticut Equestrian Center in Coventry, CT. The position centers around responsibility for horse care, and management of other workers. Daily tasks include turning out and bringing in horses, preparing feed, ensuring all horses have properly prepared stalls, administering medications, basic first aid, careful observation of the horses to ensure their welfare, and night check. Other responsibilities include organizing work shifts for and supervising other staff, and preparing information for payroll. Good people skills are required as there is daily interaction with boarders and clients. Accommodation is a large 2 bedroom apartment over the barn.
