Plant Inventory Operations Specialist

Own the flow of materials and dataJoin PPG in Cleveland, OH to keep production humming on our Weekend Day Shift. You’ll coordinate materials to the line, record finished goods, and execute Oracle transactions that make every batch traceable and every count accurate.Role highlightsOn-site, Cleveland plant — reporting to the Production Superintendent.Schedule — Friday–Sunday, 12 hours per day, 5:00 AM–5:00 PM.Environment — fast-paced, safe, and rooted in 5S principles.Your impactSupport Production Supervisors by resolving and preventing transactional errors that delay batches.Execute Oracle Inventory Management and Batch Execution activities to issue, receive, and reconcile stock accurately.Record finished product movements to the correct warehouse locations and prepare timely reports.Capture operator issues, rank them by impact, and drive corrective actions.Take on additional assignments from leadership as needed.What we’re looking forHigh School Diploma or GED required; associate/bachelor’s preferred.1+ year in operations or lean manufacturing.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Oracle.Strong written and verbal communication to influence results and build team cohesion.Benefits and trainingPaid training.Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits.401(k) with company match plus retirement savings.Paid Vacation and Holiday pay.Compensation and benefits can vary by geography.
