Sales Intern

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., makers of YellaWood brand pressure-treated pine, is seeking a Sales Intern for the 2027 Summer Internship Program. This program is an opportunity to experience the lumber industry and workforce like never before. From networking opportunities and real-world projects to community service events, Great Southern provides an incredible opportunity to gain valuable real-world experience. Responsibilities: Gaining corporate experience and developing new skills through on-the-job training and exposure to inventory purchases, order entry, and customer service. Assisting with sales calls and order entry. Gathering and performing analysis to assist the sales team in making decisions. Participating in customer visits. Assisting with special projects and ad-hoc requests, as needed Qualifications for the Yellawood Internship: Must be at least a sophomore and actively seeking a Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field and a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater. Must have experience with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook.
