This position requires managing both front-of-house responsibilities, including taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring customer satisfaction, as well as bartending duties such as preparing and serving a variety of beverages. The successful candidate will create a welcoming atmosphere, handle transactions accurately, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area. Minimum Qualifications: Legal age to serve alcohol as per local regulations. Previous experience in waitstaff or bartending roles preferred but not mandatory. Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change. Ability to stand and move for extended periods during shifts. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol). Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling. Knowledge of mixology and cocktail preparation. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Customer service training or hospitality education. Responsibilities: Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously, providing menus and answering questions about food and beverage options. Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them efficiently to kitchen and bar staff. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any requests or concerns to ensure a positive dining experience. Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, balancing registers and maintaining transaction records. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and bar areas, including setting and clearing tables. Adhere to all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations and guidelines. Collaborate with team members to manage busy periods and ensure smooth service flow. Skills: The required skills such as communication and interpersonal abilities are essential for engaging with guests and understanding their needs to provide personalized service. Attention to detail and basic math skills are used daily to accurately take orders, prepare bills, and handle payments.
