POD (Print On Demand) Label Designer

Design and optimize print-on-demand labels for pharmaceutical and medical device products at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Develop labeling solutions that meet regulatory requirements and quality standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams on process improvements and technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement efficient labeling solutions meeting quality and regulatory standards
- Design labels using advanced software and validate printing processes
- Develop, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures and technical documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and handle operational requests from multiple stakeholders
- Collaborate with IT, packaging experts, product managers, and quality teams on labeling projects
Requirements
- Advanced degree with no prior experience, or bachelor's degree plus 2 years packaging/labeling engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of label design, redline updates, and printing technologies like Zebra printers
- GMP requirements and regulatory compliance standards familiarity
- Proficiency in Loftware Cloud or CodeSoft design software and Microsoft SQL Database
- Experience with labeling validation, SOPs, and technical documentation
- Process improvement methodology experience such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Compensation: $56,200.00–$75,000.00 base
