Registered Respiratory Therapist - Float Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30) with occasional weekends.

Job Description

This is a full-time float position requiring the selected candidate to work between multiple locations. Notification of the specific location will be provided 2-4 hours prior to the start of each shift. Candidates must have extensive experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and be able to adapt to various environments and patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in assigned locations as required.
• Administer treatments and procedures as per physician orders.
• Assess patient conditions and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess at least 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current NBRC certification and BLS certification are mandatory.
• Ohio RRT license must be active and in hand at the time of application.
• References required from managers, supervisors, or directors in the specialty within the last 12 months.
