We are representing a premier, independent investment bank in San Francisco seeking a Director of Investment Banking to lead high-stakes M&A execution and drive pivotal industry transformations. This role is not just another position; our client is a lean, high-impact firm known for advising on some of the decade's most iconic multi-billion dollar deals. You will collaborate directly with visionary founders and global executive teams, bridging innovative creativity with institutional capital.
The Role:
- Lead High-Value Execution: Manage all aspects of large-cap M&A, from complex financial modeling and valuation to definitive agreement negotiations.
- Strategic Advisory: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing sophisticated counsel on domestic and cross-border transactions.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of Associates and Analysts in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Who You Are:
- M&A Heavyweight: You have significant experience (8+ years) within an elite investment bank, with a proven "deal sheet" featuring large-cap M&A transactions.
- TMT Specialist: You possess deep domain expertise in Media, Tech, or Telecom and understand the converging trends within these sectors.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: You thrive in an independent environment where initiative is rewarded, and bureaucratic layers are non-existent.
