Pricing & Market Analyst II - Marine Parts & Accessories

Yamaha Motor Company is looking to fill a Market Analyst II – Marine Parts & Accessories position at our office located in Kennesaw, GA. The role oversees industry information and statistics for Marine Group management, researches, gathers and analyzes competitive information, and provides strategic insights to Marine Management and other groups. The analyst serves as the point person for Yamaha and Marine market information. What You'll Be Doing Oversee the preparation of Marine Executive Management presentations for customers/management meetings. Lead the support of the business planning process for Marine Executive Management and Operations. Manage the database of competitive outboard pricing and programs, and provide recommendations on pricing direction to Executive Management. Oversee the Market Analyst in developing presentations for all other divisions for internal and external use. Prepare Mid Term Plan presentations and work closely with Yamaha‑owned boat companies to prepare Mid‑Term Plan presentations. Work with Accounting and Operations Manager to understand monthly financial results and report to management with directional opinions. Lead the implementation of new business initiatives such as new employee training, ISD projects, consumer survey research, etc. Works under limited oversight from the Operations and Planning Manager. Provides direction to the Market Analyst on various tasks and projects. Proficiency in Business Objects is required. Strong analytical, presentation and oral communication skills are required. Passion for the outdoors, boating and fishing (preferred). Must be able to travel with minimal notice. What You Need To Be Successful BA/BS degree in Business or a related field; degree in Market Research is preferred. 3–5 years of experience in an analytical role. 2–3 years of industry experience. Strong proficiency of MS Office tools, including Business Objects, SAP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
