Laboratory Technician

On Line Design, Inc. is currently looking for a full-time lab technician to work on-site in Mason, Ohio. In this role, you will conduct laboratory tests with insects to assist scientists in making qualitative and quantitative analyses (including experiment set up, clean up, data entry in Excel, and data distribution). You are expected to maintain a clean and orderly lab environment and ensure that lab safety requirements are met. 1-2 years of laboratory experience is preferred, including academic research, internships or other hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests including experiment set-up, clean-up, data collection and entry, and data distribution
• Support technical lab testing for device development including performing technical measurements, assembling components, and setting up experiments
• Maintain a clean and orderly lab environment
• Follow safety guidelines

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in the laboratory
• Proficiency in Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
• A degree in a related field such as Chemistry or Biology
• Comfortable working with insects
