Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, preferred NIH Stroke certification, ACLS Must-Have: Candidates without essential skills will not be considered for the role. Description: General information about the unit includes a bed capacity with a maximum of 43 patients. The staff typically consists of a charge nurse, registered nurses, techs, and a unit secretary based on the shift. Patient ratios are maintained at 5:1. The unit uses remote tele and EMR Meditech. Typical hiring profiles prioritize travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters. The unit is designated for general medical surgical care, including stroke and neuro cases. The ideal candidate will have an upbeat, engaged, and compassionate personality. The dress code requires navy scrubs. The unit has received multiple awards and recognitions, including Daisy awards, and has maintained a significant record for CAUTI prevention. This position includes working closely with a dedicated and skilled healthcare team.
